I do not think it will work. Feel free to try it - I attached it to a reply above.
If it does not work, the directions here were really excellent, but it did take me several hours.

1. Here it is. You will have to generate your own MLB, SystemSerialNumber and SystemUUID under the 'Platforminfo' section of your config.plist file. If you do not understand what I mean by that, I will get into it deeper.
2. I am using a i7 6700K processor and set the SerialProductName to...

I could not get anything to work using Clover. Once I figured out how to configure OpenCore, everything went smoothly with a fresh install of BigSur.
If anyone wants my EFI folder, let me know.

One of my older hacks has the same problem. When I select the 'exit clover' option, clover reboots with a high def screen and shows the Mac partitions. Give it a try....
I use the same card on OS 10.15.7 with no problems. I installed Lilu/Whatevergreen via Multibeast and the card works as expected. Try that and when you boot into windows, load the appropriate driver.
Hope that helps,
Jeff
Hi,
My main rig (GA-Z170X-UD3 Ultra | i7 6700K | RX 580 Pulse 8GB) was working beautifully running Sierra. I finally decided to put on my big boy pants and update to Catalina. This first required upgrading my video card and I went with an RX 580). I performed a fresh install of Catalina...
I had the same problem until a few hours ago. You have extra "boot.efi" files at the root layer of that drive.
Do what is mentioned here:
Look at the end of the "PCIBoot" line. It will tell you where to find the extra "boot.efi" files. They will be invisible.
To view the invisible files...
Toleda, thanks for everything you do. I finally have my audio back on my 100 series machine. I would have had it back a week ago if I had just read the F&%$ing guides properly.

FWIW, I have a similar build but have to use a trick to get my Thunderbolt to Firewire cord to work.
1) Plug it into the back with the system off.
2) Boot into Windows.
3) Reboot into OSX (do not shut down)
4) Firewire is recognized even if no Thunderbolt devices are listed

One more thing to try; my setup requires me to boot into Windows first (with the hardware plugged in) and then reboot (not shutdown) into OSX for my Thunderbolt to Firewire adaptor to work.

Almart,
Thanks for the guide. I was going crazy until I found it. 2 questions:
1) I lose audio after sleep. Did you run into this problem?
2) any idea why simply using multibeast for audio isn't sufficient? I.e. Why do you have to run the script?
Thanks again,
Jeff
When you make your Unibeast USB stick, make sure you select UEFI Boot Mode and not legacy. I had that same problem. I am building a very similar system running Sienna. Running well except for no audio.
