Install Mavericks on Dell Optiplex 9010 - everything works out of box

[Solved] Dell Optiplex 9010 + Sierra + Clover = reboot loop, no installer

Maybe try just one DIMM for initial boot, also which graphics are you using? Built in intel or a PCIe card? I installed an NVIDIA 1030 and it works very well Can you send a screenshot of the verbose mode text before it reboots?

[Solved] Dell Optiplex 9010 + Sierra + Clover = reboot loop, no installer

My problem was not even getting to the Apple logo, was definitely caused by the BIOS settings. When I went through and double checked every single setting it did work. Are you booting with the -v flag set? That’ll give you more info on the problem. Also boot with -s to boot safe mode.

Audio isn’t working no, I’ve tried installing the Voodoo 2.9 (I think) audio kexts and experimenting with the Audio device ID in clover configurator but the only devices recognised in System Preferences are the hdmi ports on the graphics card. I have usb speakers so it hasn’t bothered me so far.

I've fixed the booting issue, was a setting in the BIOS I'd missed, either C-States or Intel SpeedStep. I disabled them both and am currently installing. Will see how the build turns out! Thanks all
