Really? I'm surprised that every motherboard requires tweaking after Unibeast. I'm finding it to be a total time-sink and much more time-consuming than any of my older hackintoshes, which didn't require any tweaking of the Unibeast Install USB.
I think I had 4 problems stopping me from getting...
I've tried a build using an Asus Z390-A Prime motherboard. As it was on the Buyer's Guide, I kind of expected Unibeast and Multibeast to work off-the-bat, but that definitely didn't turn out to be the case.
I think I've spent in excess of 50 hours trying solutions to problems with the...
Thanks for the post, but I've decided to give up with this motherboard, since:
- Unibeast install USB doesn't boot without a lot of tinkering.
- Multibeast post-install doesn't work without a lot of tinkering.
I'm just fed-up of solving one problem, only to be confronted by the next.
Went for a reinstall. Original USB stick I installed from no longer worked, which is bizarre. Messed around with config.plist and got it to work, but now won't boot the installation drive during reinstall.
I've had enough of this motherboard...bloody AWFUL to hackintosh!
Not sure why it's on...
Thanks for the post Casey. I've updated my config.plist with the Hackintool patch, but it is still booting up non-accelerated.
I've attached my current config.plist which includes the patch. I think that, since this config.plist originated from the one on my installation USB stick, it might be...
After getting the config.plist correct on the USB to install MacOS Mojave, any post-installation creation of config.plist results in a black screen on boot-up.
To get the thing to boot from the SSD, I took the USB config.plist and placed it on the SSD, which at least gives me a usable system...
So, I read in this forum that 6xx/7xx cards require 10.8.3.
I updated to that but now have no sound (even after Multibeasting Audio kexts back in), which always seems a pig to debug.
I've taken a time machine backup of the machine and am going to put a fresh 10.9.1 install on it. I'll then...
I have a 10.8.2 build with a GTX560ti, that works with GraphicsEnabler=Yes
I attempted to change the GFX card to a GTX670, but I don't get any video output after the Apple loading screen (the monitor goes into standby)
I changed the config to GraphicsEnabler=No as per...
This is getting to me...
I've tried an LG TV with HDMI...I get a picture, but it's not 1080p...it seems to be overscanning...I get a reasonable result if I set it to 1680 x 1050, but its not native for the TV.
Would that be a problem with the TV, or is it something I can fix on the Mac?
The build:
Gigabyte GA-H77-WIFI with F2 bios
dsdt.aml of this mobo off this site on desktop to enable audio over HDMI
i3-3225 with onboard HD4000
DVI connection to Dell 1080p Monitor
After Multibeast (With User DSDT/ALC892/RTL81**), upon rebooting, the Apple boot completes and I have a...
That usually happens when the drives aren't unmounted properly.
Boot into Windows and run Check Disk on the other drives: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43 ... check.html
They should then mount correctly in OS X.
