    CPU i7 6700k - Confirmation?

Don't take me the wrong way, I didn't mean to seem presumptuous about myself or the hard working people trying to make it happen. I will not be among those who find a way through (if any) for sure. If I were I probably wouldn't ask you guys stuff like this. Only after tonymacx86.com makes it...

    CPU i7 6700k - Confirmation?

Hello everyone. https://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=intel+core+i7+6700k These confirm that the new iMacs 5k are upgraded with Intel i7 6700k and that supposedly we should be able to build our machine with this CPU in the near future, correct?

    Laptop?

Too bad... I'm not getting a laptop, it would be fun to mod the G4 though. Thanks for your reply!

    Laptop?

Hey guys. I was wondering if it's possible to turn a Powerbook G4 into a modern laptop and If it is how would it be? My guess would be to tear it down and build it with new parts, but could be incredibly hard, if possivle naturally. Any ideas...?

    Sound card vs mobo

Thank you Going Bald... Once again

    Sound card vs mobo

The purpose of this post is not to discuss to what extent can a human ear listen... I have some doubts when it comes to sound for my build. I know that OS X outputs 24/96 max and I was wondering if it's possible to get more. Also in terms of quality, would you recommend using mobo's default or...

    Suitable PSU 1st build

The answer is quite simple, I'd rather choose more than I know I'll need than realizing afterwards that it wasn't enough. Plus most of the PSU's are noisier considering the load, therefore if I have more than I use it translates in an accomplished goal for this build, quiet :) A quick remark...

    Suitable PSU 1st build

HXi vs AXi OS X doesn't support Corsair Link as Going Bald stated previously, and I have no intention of a supreme overkill by getting AX1500i as the price gets really steep for my purpose (or AX1200i for that matter, vast overkill will do fine). The HX1000i and the AX860i have little...

    Suitable PSU 1st build

I tend to save the extra buck for the extra quality with everything, as long as it's justifiable. I have a lot to read before anything and it is quite natural that my choice of a component now changes within the next 5 minutes (another reason why this build will only take place in months...

    Checking chosen set before buying...

In terms of design it looks amazing whereas on the functional side there may be some cons you should consider, if you haven't already. I hope you get the best of both :D

    Suitable PSU 1st build

I have no idea about the end result for this build, but my guess is that eventually I might add a GPU, overclock, need more power... therefore 1000W PSU that spins the fan at 400W seems like a good candidate. But there's still a long way to go. Seasonic Platinum Fanless 520W is another...

    Suitable PSU 1st build

The reason for i version is All Japan Capacitors. How long does one of these last? Why CX model? EDIT: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/PSUReviewDatabase.html

    Suitable PSU 1st build

Between 250 and 500 on basic terms. Another reason for the Corsair RM1000i, aside from expansion, is that the fan won't move until it hits 40% load.
