I found it out when trying to connect with Screen sharing from my MBP. Suddenly had 2 monitors... Luckily I had Screen sharing activated in 10.6.8. Maybe a reboot without your monitor connected might work. Plug it in after bootup. Besides that I have no idea.

The code worked for me to. No BIOS reset anymore. Only difference from my SL setup is that I have to press mye keyboard or mouse a couple of times after the first click when I wake it up. If I dont it just falls asleep again.
