hey @kgp, thanks for the heads-up, so even if it is only cosmetic, it would mean my card is on slot 4. :) I will fix this when I am back home. just to make sure not only the card works also that those information are correct. about the patching, as I am still rookie in modifications like this...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@franksanderdo , good morning, before I go to work, here my small progress report :) I took the SSDT of the x299 repo from @kgp. I adjusted the values which are representative for my card. and it seems to work. (see attachment screenshots) I have also modified the kext to have the USB...

[SUCCESS] Intel Core i9 7920X, Gigabyte X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming, GTX 1080 Samsung 960 EVO NVMe

@goldorac , If you want to build your friend a hackintosh and he has a X299 board, I recommend you just go the standard way. Create a installer stick with your Mac for Mojave. and use the latest Clover to install the default kext files (which are automatically checked) + the AptioMemFix. if...

hey @franksanderdo , here is the ioreg saved with ioregexplorer2.1 (the one i posted earlier was saved with ioreg 3.0.2) and a save of my system report. the Bluetooth Card is connected to F_USB2 and is shown under HS09 in the ioreg. never the less, my kext file says HS09 and HS10 are connector...

hey @goldorac , my EFI folder won't help you. i have a x299 board. you have a Z97A. Those are different chip sets. Also i am still struggeling with alot of issues, so i would not recommend to use my EFI folder currently to anyone.

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@franksanderdo , so the keyboard is not connected currently, as I personally think the behaviour with the power management could be software related. I was installing a Logitech software which is called G Hub. but I just noticed, this software seems to be still in some kind of beta state. As...

@Ellybz yeah, I noticed that the kext is not changing a lot for me compared to the port limit patches in my config.plist i had before. but I personally think it was a very very good task, to get a better understanding of how to work with ioreg and get deeper into the Hackintosh materia. I...

hey @Ellybz , if you are talking about this here Find: 31D2E891 FCFFFF Replace: 31D29090 909090 mentioned it to me and it sadly does not work. I can not 100% recap what happens, but @franksanderdo is helping me currently getting the EFI setup straight, I assume the fix for my issues with...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

hey @franksanderdo, thanks for the reply, here are the current ioreg and the EFI: Info: I said yesterday I noticed that the XHC and XHCI ssdts are causing trouble to my Power Management. That is not true. The real reason is my Logitech Keyboard G910. I do not know why, but as soon as I connect...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@kgp and @franksanderdo , Edit: @kgp @franksanderdo I have tested now the Ports assignment and can confirm that indeed the GA7 and UG have the same mapping. I tested each port and created a port layout for my board + kext file with the layout included See the attachment the port limit...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@kgp, @franksanderdo , so I was nearly done with my kext(testing the ports step by step) when I noticed the link to the repo by reading the guide again with all the other kext files. I wanted to make sure that I am not doing something wrong, so I checked some of the Gigabyte kexts for other...
