Reseting the CMOS worked but as soon as I changed the BIOS settings back to as instructed in the guide I lost it again. It seems a lot of customized BIOS versions have been added to the guide. Should I try a specific one of those?
I’m having an issue since upgrading to Catalina from Mojave where I’m no longer getting a splash screen on boot up and can’t get into BIOS. (I assume it’s booted into BIOS but getting no picture). I’ve tried plugging a monitor into the gpu, on board graphics, and tried the on board graphics HMDI...
I've plugged in multiple drives and devices, both hot plugged and rebooted with them connected. nothing is showing up. I've tried bus powered and self powered devices. bus powered devices to get power but don't show up
I gave up on migrating my existing OSX install to OC (managed to get OC working on a new drive but staying on the Clover system for now to avoid having to reinstall everything). after upgrading the Clover install to Catalina my TB ports are no longer working. any thoughts? Attaching my EFI folder.

EFI folder attached. I also get the following warning when opening OpenCore Configurator. I also attempted to follow the link through to HackinDROM in the mini guide post but the post with the download link for HackinDROM appears to be missing
Just to clarify: We are copying the preconfigured OC EFI to the instal OSX USB flash drive correct? I tried several combinations of this, and trying to boot the flash drive with the OSX installer from both OpenCore and Clover hangs up. I can start the installation to another drive while I'm...
The boot picker does appear. I get the error after selecting to boot from my system drive. I upgraded to Catalina (which I was planning on doing after switching to OpenCore but went ahead and tried anyway) and Catalina is booting fine on the Clover EFI drive. If booting via OpenCore now instead...
Finally getting around to switching to OC using this guide but I am getting this error in Open Core when I try to boot at the stage where I'm booting from the new EFI folder on the USB drive:
OCSB: No suitable signature - Security Violation
OCB: Apple Secure Boot prohibits this boot entry...
Solved. If you have the MIDI clock set to USB on the Prophet it blows up the USB bus on this system for some reason. Very niche problem I'm sure most people won't ever encounter, but there's the answer.
