You try patching your own dsdt? I'd try doing a fresh install again without the fan fix and see if thats the problem.

^ I had the same error dude, when you log back in it will still say 10.8.1. From there just update to 10.8.2. Thats what I did and I had no problems updating to 10.8.2.
