Hello Donniekl, how fits the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti LP inside HP 8300 with SFF case? Is there enough space for this GPU? And is this GPU silent or loud in your case? Thank you for reply.
Has anyone tried the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti LP? I can't decide between Gigabyte and MSI... I expect, that MSI version will be louder than Gigabyte, but I am not sure if Gigabyte fits well in to 8300 SFF case???
Why these RAM?
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 MHz DDR4 - they are very popular here.
My build will have the same components - i7 7700K, EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GA-Z270X-UD5 (here bothers me only one M.2 slot + one U.2 slot). I am sure with case - Fractal Design Define C and still not sure...
Maybe i7-7700K with Gigabyte GA-Z270X-UD5 will be better choice (more future-proof)...
GA-Z270X-UD5 has Thunderbolt 3 output = possibility to connect 4K display sometime in future.
Thank you for comments, I checked RAM compatibility, module name is not exactly the same (on list with supported modules is BLS16G4D240FSB.16FAD, on store is BLS16G4D240FSB).
At the beginning most of usage of M.2 SSD will be for Windows, but I would like to have OSX system as fast as possible...
I am Windows user without knowledge OSX. In near future I would like to build a new machine for video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects). The opportunity to try another operating system (and different software for video editing like FCPX) by selecting compatible components is awesome thing...
