SUPER Slow Boot Time (Snow Leopard)

Thanks for the help. I removed that kext from /e/e and ran multibeast, rebooted in verbose to a much faster load. I'm at about 23 seconds boot time. I may have installed an extra realtek driver but that doesn't cause much of a hangup on boot. I also had a "SNB framebuffer did not show up...

SUPER Slow Boot Time (Snow Leopard)

Cool, no my system isn't slow at all. I've had it running for 8-10 hours at a time with no problem. Only thing is I noticed that it took maybe a bit longer than it should to boot. I booted in verbose mode for the first time and noticed a couple unfound things. Is there a log for verbose that I...

SUPER Slow Boot Time (Snow Leopard)

I am in fact running in 64 bit mode. What is the difference between runing Kext Utility and running Rebuild Caches and Repair Permissions in multibeast? Can I just do that in multibeast. I never installed Kext Utility cause I"m not exactly sure what it's for. My system pretty much worked my...

SUPER Slow Boot Time (Snow Leopard)

I did do the 64 bit boot screen but I know I didn't check any of the nvidia options when ran multibeast. I don't want to screw up my system because everything has been tuning perfect. Can I just delete this Crome /e/e and have no problems? J

SUPER Slow Boot Time (Snow Leopard)

Now, that you've mentioned it I have a similar problem with mine. I never thought of it as a problem. I've yet to look at verbose mode so I'll take a look when I get home, however once my machine does boot, It's speedy and fast and I have no problems with it. Other than having to unplug and...

Audio clicks when OS loads and When I shutdown or sleep

Good To know. it's not really a big deal because it only happens when I turn on or off, but If there's a quick fix I'd love to take a crack. My hackintosh build was surprisingly easy and I got pretty much everything working on my first try.

Audio clicks when OS loads and When I shutdown or sleep

Anyone know how I can address this. I've successfully installed 10.6, updated to 10.6.8 and everything seems to work, audio is fine. Only issues is a couple clicks when the os loads and when I shutdown the machine. I've attached a screenshot of my audio config from os. Any help would be greatly...

Successfully Installed 10.6, but 10.6.7 and 10.6.8 Hang

I'm able to successfully install 10.6 however I"m uncertain the order I need to run multibeast. After booting off iboot to 10.6 I install the 10.6.7 update and then run multibeast with easydsdt immediately after. Then upon rebooting with iboot, once I select the updated install it just hangs...
