I re-applied your post-install patches including building a new ssdt-hack-k2 and config.plist including the xwak patches. I also removed the patched dsdt built last week.
For me, all the USB devices survive the sleep/wake cycle.
Thank you for the fantastic help. You are the greatest.
I have an HP Envy 15t-k100 CTO (I7-4710HQ Haswell) onto which I have installed High Sierra 10.13.4.
As part of the post-install, I did the following:
a. Download scripts and patches https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-Envy-K-DSDT-Patch. Then run script: ./install_downloads.sh
b. For xHCI, make then...
I am happy to test your new scripts. My Envy uses the "k2" ssdt. Have you updated the k2 ssdt also? When testing, should I remove the DSDT that contains the xwak?
I have performed more testing. With the XWAK DSDT patch the system does achieve normal sleep but it takes almost 60s to begin to sleep.
For the first sleep cycle after reboot, the system sleeps after 20-30s. For subsequent sleep cycles, it takes about 60s.
Good news and bad news:
Good news: With the XWAK DSDT patch applied, the USB devices function correctly after wake.
Bad news: With the XWAK DSDT patch applied, the system can be put into real sleep only 1 time. After wake from the first sleep, the system does not truly sleep but achieves only...
Here is the DSDT with the XWAK edit already made. Unfortunately, it does not compile and gives many errors (It gave the same errors before making the XWAK edit).
I am not expert enough to know how to force the compile in spite of errors.
Is there a way to apply the XWAK patch without requiring...
Your instructions for Envy do not include any DSDT. Do you recommend that I now add a DSDT or would it be better to add this new patch into config.plist via Clover Configurator?
I tested with boot flag: uia_ignore_rmcf
Bad news:
1. bluetooth (normally visible on USB2 bus) was not visible before sleep or after wake
2. HP Truevision webcam (normally visible on USB2 bus) was visible before sleep but NOT after wake
Good news:
1. Both the Logitech mouse and Logitech...
1. For "USB Boot" BIOS settings, the only 2 options are "Enabled" and "Auto". I have AUTO selected
2. There is no BIOS "FastBoot" option
3. No. After Wake, the USB devices are NOT recognized by removing and re-inserting them. To me it seems as if the USB ports are disabled after wake.
