Work without custom SSDT in 10.11 and now working without one in 10.12.

I read the post but i think i will live with the problem, Since everything else works fine. Perhaps a solution like the one used in el captain will become available at some point.

Same problem here USB 3 drive will not mount in USB 3 port but does in USB 2 port. If I plug a USB2 device (headphones mic etc.). They work fine I can even mount a drive formatted FAT in the USB 3 port.

On updating after updating to 10.12, drives will no longer mount in usb 3.0 ports. The works fine in 2.0 and the 3.0 ports work for other usb devices(headphones microphone). Just to confuse this a little more FAT drives will mount when using the 3.0 ports. Anyone seen this or have any ideas?
