I read about the Thunderbolt card. I know it is installed properly as it works fine in Windows.
With the genconfig do I copy this file it generated to my EFI drive after it does the config?
Yes. I have the USBInjectAll.kext installed. I have attached my EFI clover file from the EFI boot record on the disk.
Also, I am having a wierd problem in that I cannot upload any files to internet. Any uploading immediately shuts down my internet connection and I have to restart to get it...
I'll grab the config.plist when I get a chance. I don't really care about the Wifi as this unit will be using Ethernet. That is working fine. My biggest concern is the Thunderbolt.
The ASRock has the Thunderbolt header and I am using the Asus ThunderboltEX 2 card (AIC 3).
Okay. By installing the NVIDIA web drivers and activating that in EFI config file, I got the system booting fine with most things working.
I have not been able to get the wifi working with this machine. I'm not sure if the wifi card is compatible.
Also, I bought an Alpine Ridge AIC 3...
How are you overclocking it? I used the OC Tweaker for some stock speeds they had configured, but neither Windows or OSX showed anything other than the 3.7 speed.
I have not been able to get the wifi working. Have you?
Also, I bought an Alpine Ridge AIC 3 card. I can get it to work under...
Okay. Got it to boot further using the USBInjectAll kext. Now I am stuck here:
com.apple.xpc.launchd service only ran for 0 seconds. pushing respawn out by 10 seconds
I have the same system, but I cannot get it to install. I'm on BIOS 1.8. Do you have the config.plist and the clover settings?
The system hangs during at the Apple logo and then gives me the prohibitory stop sign.
