finally fixed it! voodooTSCSync with the right IOCPU id worked. :shock:

Sorry nothing as it the change had no effect. still needed cpus=1 x86platformPlugin kext is not loading. So that might be the cause.

BIOS is good. Replaced ACPI with original from Yosemite still nothing.

Alright. after a lot of Stupid DSDT problems. All patches have been applied and other features have been applied according to my specs. Updated my config to what your link suggested. However I still cannot boot without cpus=1 :banghead::banghead: something I'm doing wrong or haven't tried yet?

Interesting. didn't know I was missing all that. Sorting out a few errors in my DSDT and I'll see if those fixes worked.

Kernel lapic is set and my config settings are minimal to whats in the power management article. didn't think about HPET I'll try the fix in DSDTSE
