    Mountain Lion on ASUS P8Z77-M Pro for Dummies, i7-3.5GHz, HD4000, Audio/DVI/HDMI (+Audio)/Sleep/Wake

I see. But isn't it the case that it will be automatically detected, regardless of the definition? How can one checks that anyway? I see I have different clock frequencies, but I don't know how many different states... CPU performance states (P-states) and CPU operating states (C-states)...

The DSDT is only for HDMI-Audio. I have everything working without it, except HDMI-Audio. Thanks for pointing out -x and "safe mode".

Well, I don't have any special reason for selecting iMac. I, however, tried Mac Pro 3.1 as your mentioned. My score didn't change much (from 15487 to 15513). My feeling is system definition doesn't affect anything except the image in your "About this Mac". In all of them the CPU will be detected...

Thanks a loot for your follow and attention. I finally decided to get my hands dirty with editing DSDT manually. So, I merged the DSDTs that I had and ended up with a working one. I posted the results of my installation in...

Oops, sorry. So,, I did it first as you said before, exactly as you put in the screen shot, I restarted and yet I didn't have audio at all. Then, I tried the "Without DSDT" one, After restarting I had audio but without HDMI audio. Then, using KextBeast I installed AHCISeries7Injector and...

I renamed /Extra to /_Extra_ and re-ran with your settings (below). I kept AHCISeries7Injector.kext on my desktop. Sleep/Wake works fine, but again I don't have AUDIO.

    DSDT Request Asus P8Z77-M

By the way, this is the DSDT that I use. Using this, I have full audio (Input and Output) including HDMI audio. But as mentioned before, Sleep works but Wake does NOT work.

Thanks for the file. I removed DSDT.aml from /Extra and put your attached file on my desktop and installed it using KextBeast. I rebooted. Sleep/wake works fine, but I don't have any audio (no Output, nor Input). You mentioned a MultiBeast setup in your other post...

    DSDT Request Asus P8Z77-M

After many kernel panics (explained below) I realised that it is necessary for my settings to have that option checked. KP: Booting with -v. First it stuck on Sandbox: sandboxd(99) deny mach-lookup com.apple.coresymbolicationd and after about 10 seconds it continued and stuck on the next...

I took the DSDT from post 39 in http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/53553-dsdt-request-asus-p8z77-m-4.html#post477794 , I guess it is based on http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/70762-mountain-lion-hdmi-audio-ami-dsdt.html#post438967 Regarding SATA. If I don't include DSDT it recognises that I...

Thanks kduvernay for your reply. In particular, I need DSDT to setup my HDMI display & audio. And for fully recognition of my SATA drives.
