Hi Epic,
I'm sorry I can't help you, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction of the config and SSDT that you found? I've got the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H board but haven't got my onboard audio working on El capitan. I was hoping our boards are close enough so that your config...
Haha awesome :) last bit sounds familiair. In the meantime I got my machine. I got mac installed but it was more difficult then I thought. In the end I got one guide that worked. Only thing not working is sleep and the frontal usb ports.
Having just installed Mountain Lion using this board, I tried this. It didnt work. Still no USB2 support. The ports I'm testing it on came with the case (Corsair 300R) but are USB3.
I do have a working green audio jack right next to them.
Hmmm that depends on how hard it is to pull-off. Because once my system is getting slower for things I can overclock it to get some extra mileage out of it I guess.
Hello everyone,
thought I'd create a topic specifically for the motherboards. In my other topic I got recommended the GA-Z77X-UD4H because the 5H was to much what it offered. But the price difference between those 2 cards is to little to care. So I started looking for a mobo that would free up...
Awesome! Thanks for the answers. Whats funny is that your the first person to say 450 watts is enough :0 2 other people on another website sais I needed the 650 at least. Ill read in to power management this evening and checkmout the tool you posted. Might need to put in a newer mobo so that...
Aha thanks! I'll look up tomorrow what that means ^_^
Also another general question: I see that the processor comes equipped with a graphics processor as well. Is it worth it to invest in a processor with a better graphics processor if I'm already investing in a good GPU? Will they help each...
Hello everyone,
I've spent the afternoon looking at reviews and finding parts for my machine. Heres what I got so far:
Mobo: I'm thinking about the Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H instead of the GA-Z77X-UD5H. I've seen it suggested in a few topics here as a viable alternative. But its not on the list...
Hi Bittermelon,
Thanks for the information! Good to know. I'll look in to a compact rig. Although I'm not looking for something small perse. As long as its fast ^_^
Hello everyone,
quick question if you guys don't mind.
I'm deciding on a budget now and its probably going to be around 900/1000 euro's. I need a computer that is fast enough for some nice video-editing/Motion design but also good at gaming :)
So I'm wondering if I can invest in a slightly...
Awesome! Thanks for the very clear answer. Shows a lot of promise :) Excellent tips as well. I'll save it to a text document when I get home so I won't lose them :)
Alright! That makes a lot of sense. I'm a multimedia designer so I can kind of relate with what your saying if I compare it to coding websites/php. I can follow a tutorial 1 on 1 and end up with a working plug-in. But I can also change stuff to my liking and try to get it to work.
As to what...
hahaha! No problem! Can also be the language barrier on my side. Albert answered it from his part. So he got it ^_^
What I mean was: Can a hack-intosh computer be considered a more powerfull alternative for less money than a real mac? Or will it have to much problems to be considered a good...
