Thank you, asiachang! My audio also stopped working after updating to 10.8.3. Simply running MultiBeast with ALC892 checked (without DSDT in my case) and restarting solved the problem!- JakeStoeffler

Cannot reach OS X Installer, "Still waiting for root device."
Thank you. Moving the Unibeast USB drive to a USB 2.0 port worked for me. I previously had it in a USB 3 port on the back. I didn't have to switch to the 3.0 Gb/s SATA ports.- JakeStoeffler
