Thanks man this helped me out. Exact same problem with noise scrolling pages or really anything graphical. Running an Apogee Duet 1st generation on Lion, but I've had the same problems on ML. Don't know if it has to do with yamaha speakers either, but I'm using the HS80's. Anyway duck tape on...
