Guys, I just built a successful system using the GA-Z270X-Gaming 7 and everything is working perfectly including sound. If you use the latest VoodooHDA drivers (version 2.8.8 as of today) you should be good to go! https://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/ I hope that helps!
