i changed sl language to english to avoid any language issue and then erases applehda, hdaenabler and legacyhda and reinstall them with system utilities with multibeast and i get this error, then tried reinstalling and i get it again, any thoughts?
nope im not using dsdt since they are all for p55 not for x58 and i used the hdaenabler but i got an error message saying that it couldn't be installed but ill try again and let you know later
Hey i did that and now the system profiler shows a lot of connectors but on sound preferences i still get no devices ill attach both of them now, once again the preferences are on spanish but you'll get the point
Hey i installed and uptaded to 10.6.3 and on multibeast i installed the legacy alc888 kext with the hda enabler and the applehda rollback and after i restarted i get no device on the audio preferences and midi windows and my system profiler looks like the attachment, i have a x58 platinum sli...
i have that same problem trying to get sound through HDMI to my TV and have tried every combination of sound kexts and can't fix it, all i hear is some static kinda sound using voodoohda but nothing with legacy or the alc888 applehda kext so it would be great to see if someone has an answer to this
i installed 10.6.4 and when it restarted it took forever to load and then the cursor was moving but i can't click on anything and if i go to the low part of the screen the dock doesn't show up, tried booting with iboot and its the same, anyone else with this problem?
i managed to get sound with the voodoohda kextbut don't have digital out yet, another thing i noticed is that even though i downloaded perian ,mkv videos are listed as unix executables and can't be opened with quicktime gonna download vlc and see if it can thnx for all the help
i just did an install to my rig and updated to 10.6.2 then installed easybeast unsupported with 10.3.1 kernel and vodoo 0.6.21 audia kext and everything went pretty well aside 2 minor problem
1) System profile says 2.67Ghz Quad-Core Intel xeon instead of core i7-920
2) Sound is a little low...
