Thanks to Tyler62 for the guide & all here on Tonymac, AGAIN! After several fails with El Cap & High Sierra, I finally have Sierra fully working on an Asus P6T / X980 (showing 3.6 OC) / 24gb ram / Gigabyte Geforce GT 630.

thanks for the info, I will look it up. True, I'm not worried about mac os showing the overclock, but I can't figure out why windows 10 does not show any OC beyond 4.0 ghz.

regarding the overclock;.......i'm running the Z87X-UD5H & 4790k. does anyone know why el cap/sierra/win 10 does NOT show the overclock? the 4.6 OC appears in BIOS & cpuz, but on in Win/mac OS. has anyone else had this problem?

2nd Yosemite install attempt (following the guide here, 2a method - thank you all) & all seems to be working (or at least everything that I need), exept for the touchpad. Any suggestions to get it working?

Yes, used HP PBI Clover Ed. 6.2.13, and selected HD3000 1366x768 config.plist.

Ok, replaced the stock intel 633ANHMW card with a BCM943225HMB card, which passes the HP whitelist - no luck, not recognized by Yosemite. So I replaced that with an HP-branded Broadcom 43224HMS; rebuilt cache & permissions & still no luck. No wifi device recognized by Yosemite. Any suggestions?
