Sorry, didn't get to that. I managed to at least find the needed patch. macOS Catalina requires EC device (more on that here).
For both of my hackintoshes (both HPs), this is the needed patch, which is missing in Rehabman's minimal config.plist for installation.

If you haven't updated the structure, that would be it. I don't know if there is an official guide. If I remember correctly:
create drivers directory
move drivers64UEFI to drivers/UEFI
remove "-64" in the name of EFI drivers (files in drivers/UEFI)
That should be it.
It's hard for me to understand. If you updated to Clover v2.5k, did you update directory structure as well? v2.4k is not compatible with v2.5k. Also, you didn't include any Problem reporting files.
I tried to create the usb installer as well and I have the same problem. The only way for me to get into installer is to use my EFI from running hackintosh. :/
edit: found this on a different forum and it supposedly helped, I'll try that tomorrow
The caps lock problem was fixed with some updated kext. I don't know which one was that. I will find out on my other hack.
I think it's caused by Windows as Windows started replacing clover at each boot. More here:
I've got the same laptop and the docking station. 2 monitors are connected to the docking station - first one via Display Port and the second one via VGA. Both connected via Display Ports didn't work for me - the second one was mirror of the first one. Also note that I don't close the laptop...
Can you guys verify is caps lock diode is working for you? Once I press caps lock, the led stays on until reboot. The function of caps lock itself is working ok. I have this issue on both my hacks.
Have you tried making your own? Don't get me wrong, but it's better to do it yourself, because running hackintosh is more complicated than just getting EFI folder from somewhere.
