Hi @pastrychef, may I ask if you're recommending to stick with smbios 18,3 for 9th-gen CPU in Catalina? I see that in your latest unified r5.1.6 EFI folder, you have the smbios set to 18,3.
Yup, I read the post and I followed the guidelines and believe me, neither 3E920003 nor 3E910003 worked in High Sierra. It's odd, but it's true. 3E920000 worked despite showing in Hackintool as having connectors (i.e. not headless). The headless 3E920003 / 3E910003 doesn't load the iGPU in High...
@pastrychef @xelanaiznac
Hi pastry chef, I'm in the same boat as xelanaiznac and I believe you might have made an error regarding your instructions in post #1. xelanaiznac gave the values of
AAPL,ig-platform-id 0000923E
device-id 923E0000
for users in High Sierra with 9th-gen CPU for a iGPU...
Hi Pupin, may I please ask what the entry would be like in Clover Configurator please?
To save you all the trouble, here it is:

@pastrychef, I see that you've changed the boot args, but is there still a need for the shikigva argument? I find Intel QSV still works without that argument. I am using 8700K (so UHD 630) + 1080 Ti. Nevertheless, I suppose there is no harm to using the argument.
Thank you for backing me up on this. @kgp, as I've respectfully said, I appreciate what you've done for the community, and I even specifically said I meant no offence and was only sharing what I had observed on my build just as what @dMatik observed. You chose to read things the way you did and...
Hey @pastrychef, again, much thanks for this awesome guide, but may I just make an amendment? I believe your r4.1 (latest) has invalid boot arguments. While there won't be any issues stemming from them, I believe instead of
-igfxbeta -alcbeta shikigva=60 -lilubetaall -ngfxbeta
we should use...
Hi @pastrychef, love your guide!
May I ask if you made a mistake and forgot to include this bit
I do not see anything related to ig-platform-id for UHD630 in r4.1. r4.0 did have custom injection under Devices. Could you check?

@kgp
So I've just tested and the IOPCIFamily patch (X99 Patch by Brumbaer) is still necessary, it isn't obsolete. Disabling it left me stuck at "PCI configuration begin". Furthermore, I think there is an error in your guide apropos of enabling fully functional XCPM. In "Kernel and Kext Patches"...
Hi, I'm just checking if the following is still necessary as there's no mention of it in your guide:
X99 Patch by Brumbaer

@RehabMan Is there any way to enable the iGPU along with a discrete graphics card? I'd like to use Intel Quick Sync in tandem with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 for video editing purposes.
