Yes, I have one 27" LG monitor which supports 3840*2160 and another 24" PHILIPS monitor which supports 1920*1080. But as the font is too small under 4k resolution, I always scale the LG monitor at 1920*1080 in everyday use. So in fact the previous tests were all done at this lower resolution...

The port0x5 patch has been disabled but it makes no difference. I noticed the attached DUAL.ioreg file in post #11 by @spry shows port0x5, 6 and 7 were patched at the same time. So maybe something else is to blame?

Hi, with the help of glitch fix and pixel clock patch, my 4k monitor connected to HDMI is working properly on the 530 in Sierra. Now I'm trying to set up dual monitors with a second 1080p monitor connected to DVI. Will changing connector type do the trick in Sierra? Or any other solutions? Thanks.
