By adhering to the notes here, no problems were encountered in updating from the respective up-to-date environments.

The differential update was not available, so I downloaded the full setup image from the App Store and updated it.

So far the Wi-Fi is not working, but I was able to build everything up to date on my ThinkPad T480s.

The device ID is set to 16590000, and the platform ID should be set to 00001659, since it needs to be reversed.

On my ThinkPad, I changed from 19160000 to 59160000 and it seems to work fine. I don't know if 59160000 will work with the specs of the target device, but if it doesn't, why not make it a policy to try other options as a mobile CPU ID?

I updated everything to the latest state and I had no problems upgrading from Monterey or with the initial installation. It seems to take a while to reconnect to Wi-Fi, but there seems to be fine recovering from sleep mode.
