That can't be done but you could put in the same ssd with arrive cage from a mac mini with a fusion drive. Just put it in with online instructions. :thumbup: You could also replace the main hard drive if it is mast or m.2 with an adapter.

Is there a good mac-like laptop that is hackintoshable? I don't mind replacing the wifi card or using usb sound but I want to have everything work. I would prefer sound working and every component that doesn't work be able to work with a kext or replacement.

No kernal switching is required. Just grab a unibeast drive, install without formatting(unless it's on a new hard drive), and install MultiBeast or Clover
