You beat me to it. That is a good thing because I discovered after trying to get the MacOS on my hackintosh recently that my hackintosh can no longer be a hackintosh. I am guessing that it had something to do with me moving recently and my hackintosh was damaged in shipping. Good thing I don't...
That can't be done but you could put in the same ssd with arrive cage from a mac mini with a fusion drive. Just put it in with online instructions. You could also replace the main hard drive if it is mast or m.2 with an adapter.
How I got mine running is I created a unibeast install with laptop support, then I added an Updated VoodooPS2 (https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller) to the /Extra/Extentions, then I added GenericUSBXHCI.kext just to be safe (https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Generic-USB3). I...
Is there a good mac-like laptop that is hackintoshable? I don't mind replacing the wifi card or using usb sound but I want to have everything work. I would prefer sound working and every component that doesn't work be able to work with a kext or replacement.
No kernal switching is required. Just grab a unibeast drive, install without formatting(unless it's on a new hard drive), and install MultiBeast or Clover
OS X is running as smooth as mavericks did after the update. To upgrade delete the /Extra folder from the root of your hard drive. This is your multibeast. If you don't delete this, unibeast can't boot into os x after install. Download the yosemite installer from the app store them make a...
I got it working. It is done a little differently than the page you linked. In Multibeast sound drivers, you check Realtek ALCxxx/Optional HD3000/HD4000 HDMI Audio and Universal/Voodoo HDA v2.7.2 for VT2021. I see this in sound preferences. Before I got it working, I didn't know DVI did not...
I can't get HDMI audio to work with my Intel HD Graphics 4000 On my Yosemite Hackintosh. I have a USB sound card but it has very bad quality(It takes 13 minutes for OS X to see it). Can someone help me with this?
Are you asking how to install it to your computer because I have the same computer and I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite. If that's what your trying to do I can help you.
