[Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560 MacOS 10.14.1 (all models)

I haven't had any issues with that personally, at least none that I can tell. My main issue I'm having now is when plugging into power the computer reboots (I write it off as a KP) I tried looking around on the site but wasn't able to find anything thus far. Attached are debug files.

I'm not sure how but WhateverGreen did get removed. After installing it, it is now fully functional. Thanks for all the help!

Okay so that makes sense. So then would 0x59168086 be correct? Can you explain the difference between device id and platform id? And where’s I would find those? I’ve done digging but I think I just don’t fully understand that part. Thanks for your help so far, sorry if it seems like I’m asking...

What would be the correct ID? I saw your post on a thread about KBL graphics and saw that you used 0x59128086. What device id should I use? EDIT: 0x191b8086 is the new device ID I have now changed to(same ID was being used in tutorial for exact make and model my laptop), uploading debug files...

Alright so I have added the correct product id, I was able to boot up until I applied the DVMT patch that was mentioned above. I've attached the debug files.

If you check previous PR files I had originally set it to 0x59120000, I’m unable to post current debug files for the next couple hours. What is the correct ID for my laptop? I feel like I’ve tried just about everything.

Here are my debug files. I attempted doing your fix @iHac2theMacs but still nothing. I don't doubt I did something wrong with my graphic configuration, it's been mostly hit and miss with the 4k screen version of this laptop. Let me know if you guys see anything.

I'm not using a fake id to boot. I'm using 0x59120000 for graphics. How did you set the DVMT-prealloc? I've been looking all around on the forums and I'm not sure I understand. It seems that there is a lot of conflicting information. My bios shows 64MB whereas my About this Mac shows it as...

Ah, gotcha. I’ll try these again when I get home tonight. I had used 14,3 because I saw that it was one that worked with Speedshift. Thank for the help RM, I’ll let you know how it goes tonight

Take #2. Sorry about that. I'm pretty sure I have all the necessary files now. Here is my bug list: Attached is my debug files: Lid Close does not start sleep Even when I actually push the sleep option in under the apple menu, it just freezes the screen. But the screen stays on. Brightness...

Attached is my debug files: Lid Close does not start sleep Brightness keys do not work (Currently have IntelBrightness kext installed, tried using AppleBacklightInjector) but it didn't work Safari tabs are a little broken, they glitch when I run my mouse over them and when I have more than one...
