Unfortunately I have yet to fix the problem on mine. There are still a couple things I can try though. The broken/missing functionality is not crucial for the time being, so after trying all the non-invasive methods I found, I decided to stop and keep things as they are rather than risk making...
Nah. iPad's unneccessary in that case. If it works for you at all that means there's some problem on my end that I need to figure out. No clue what though. Universal Clipboard seems to work reliably, so clearly Continuity is enabled. I just can't get Continuity Camera / Scan to work whatsoever...
Which mode did you test it in? Curious on if it works over both USB-A and wirelessly, assuming you're using the recommended DW1560 like I am. I've yet to get continuity camera to work for me even on Mojave on my system, so it'd be interesting to know if there's some issue that might also carry...
Alright so I know all the excitement is about Catalina at the moment, but I'm planning on staying back on Mojave for a few more weeks til more bugs and updates get worked out.
Now, for those on Mojave, have any of you been able to get Continuity Camera working using the recommended DW1560?
As...
Ah yes, this worked, thanks. I first hackintoshed this laptop back in March, and so my .plist is also from around that time. Manually added some of the tweaks you added since, I guess I just missed this one.
Is there any way to increase the allotment of video memory to the iGPU higher than 1536mb? I seem to recall seeing some software solution for this at some point, but I can't find it.
Oh and one other odd thing. I'm fairly certain I just updated my EFI properly, which should mean it's using Clover r4895, however it still shows up as r4701 both on the About Clover screen at boot and in Clover Configurator. Is this just a visual bug?
I backed up my old CLOVER folder, then...
Did you manage to fix this? I also have the 4K model and want to have things look normal size, and I tried setting the 'Screen Resolution' under Gui to 3840x2160 in my config.plist like @blazinsmokey suggested but it didn't change anything for me.
I'm about to update my Clover install in EFI to the 3.3 package, and then update to 10.14.5. I noticed that installing VoodooPS2Controller.kext to L/E is no longer necessary, but I had done it previously when it was still needed. Should I go ahead and remove it before or after doing either...
Just got my XPS 15 working brilliantly with this guide. Everything I've tried so far seems to be working. I do have one question, however.
I'd like to use the INS key as a Push-to-Talk key for TeamSpeak and/or Discord since macOS does not use the key as Windows does, but as it is, it doesn't...
Right, so I've gotten up to the point just after I installed and configured Clover on the internal EFI partition and ran the Envy git scripts. I rebooted the system after that, and found that none of my USB devices are functioning. This includes all external ports as well as the touchscreen...
