Well…. You are Right… for usb I was a bit lazy but I honestly don’t see any differences… other than having some usb not working anymore… however thank you for your help…. But as soon as I will sell my last gaming pc…. I think I will buy a mini….

Usually I am not one of them but with the last nootrx I saw again a decrease of speed in encoding in videotool h265…almost 70fps …. Maybe is optimazed for 14.4? I don’t see the upgrade available.::

I wasn't logged...thanks! I installed this new version and now is worse then ever!!! sonoma 14.3.1 edit: nBody-Metal is worse but geekbench is better in metal and in openCL..... drastically worse than windows but... slightly better... I should try other benchmark.... :D

I regret a bit making a computer so powerful and don't use it... I feel however that the performance of the 6800xt are very low in comparison to windows... too low. I was looking for nootrx which is a bit faster but...I haven't understand how to compile it...and new version for 14.4 are coming...

I did the usb mapping..same results as tought... with geekbench I loose 13 point in single core in win but I loose 4019 point in cpu in osx. and in opencl win is WAY faster ....154476 against 105322 of course I can't test metal or vulkan....

so otherwise the usb my efi is ok? I should try a linux session with the same tasks...just for curiosity! settings in handbrake are the same between the OSes...so in theory they should work more or less the same....but they don't...

I wasn't using topology but after I inserted it performance got a little better... and I see 20 cores with Hyper treading instead of 28cores.. can I try only it? instead of cpufriend?

Hello!! config seems working BUT: windows is way faster, sometimes during heavy load SETTINGS doesn't load anymore and I have to restart, cpu is not recognized and I can see 28 cores with no hyperthreading.. I am using a lot HANDBRAKE to convert some videos and in windows (same source video...

is it normal that the fans never stop? in windows they are ok.....no spinning at all if doesn't needed... and just with nootRX ...if I use whatevergreen they stop if temperature is ok....
