I was not using AppleIGC.kext until it was posted on the front page to use it for Venture 13.4 or later. Oddly I've had crashes spaced apart a couple of times since but didn't check the reason. I'll disable it. If it works, I'll remove it and the e1000 boot argument.

Hi All, My Hack crashed twice, once over night and once just now. Here are screen shots of the error. It looks like something network card related. Any help would be appreciated. I'm on Ventura 13.6.

I need something validated. Going Intel, do we lose the ability to respond to SMS (not iMessage) messages from our hacks, which would include authorization codes auto filled?

Thanks. I thought the workaround would have maybe been Broadcom Bluetooth and Intel Wifi. I'll plan to upgrade around 14.3. Perhaps the legacy patcher route would be an option.

Hi All, I'm trying to figure out my Sonoma upgrade path with regard to Bluetooth and wireless. Moving away from the Broadcom wifi card, besides Airdrop, what other continuity features would I use? If I keep the Broadcom card and ad an intel PCI-e wireless card, would I keep all continuity...

I'm using MacPro 7,1 without a specific data provider. Wouldn't the iMacPro profiles be part of the generic CPUFriendDataProvder.kext?

I have a question. I'm noticed these kexts in my EFI folder. ARe all of them needed? I have CPUFriend.kext, CUPFriendDataProvider-iMac-20-2.kext, CPUFriendDataProvider-iMacPro-1-1.kext, and CPUFriendDataProvder.kext.

Adobe released Lightroom 12.2 within the last 5 days. Does anyone know if it fixed the issue? I’m waiting for Ventura 13.4 or 13.5 before updating but would be nice to know.

They didn’t say. Adobe support really sucks.

Going back to Monterey fixed it for me. There is a known issue with Lightroom and Ventura. Adobe said the next release will fix it. I couldn’t wait for it so reverted the OS.

I just want to report that I have success with Lightroom Classic on macos 12.6.2. Adobe acknowledged macos 13.1 and LRC 12.1 have issues. No more mac upgrades for me until a .4 release. Also commenting out the 6800XT in device properties fixes the wrong identification in LRC. Thank you all...

I was able to get Ventura running on a clean install using F22. I have a 12900K. Although I did have the crash issue I am trying to troubleshoot.

Is there any reason to delete the EFI partition on a re-install? I believe it shows up in disk utility as mac base system when using disk utility from the install usb.

I didn’t comment out the GPU. I was going to check that once I got a clean install to see if it fixes the GPU naming. The boot drive is an SN850. The data drive is an SN850X on the latest firmware.
