I'm getting the lag issue described many times in this thread. I tried to downgrade the Nvidia driver (to both .104 and .106) using the procedure in post 125. The driver installs OK, but when the system reboots it can't switch to the Nvidia driver. I get the native driver in 1280x1024 on only...

Thanks. Last question for now - the config.plist you posted is pretty minimalistic. Why was there so much stuff in the MultiBeast generated one?

The plist didn't help, but adding EmuVariableUefi-64 did. Seems to be working OK now. Where's the best place to start learning how Clover actually works and what the files in the EFI partition all do?

System components in profile (I hope). Was able to get initial install running, without graphics card installed, except for some Clover weirdness. I couldn't boot directly from Clover on High Sierra disk. I had to boot Clover from the install Flash drive, then I could tell it to boot the SSD...
