Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I purchased a Acer G257HU 2k 2560x1440 monitor dual booting with windows 10. Tried all the other over complicated methods and none worked but this process worked great.
Thanks for the great post. I have ALC887 using onboard audio. All I did was download codeccommander and and extract files then placed kext on desktop then ran kextbeast with option location of S/L/E and am running 10.11.6 and audio sleep issues have been resolved.
I would try this. Go into BIOS and check these settings
Internal graphics standby mode Enabled
Internal graphics deep standby mode disabled
Then mount EFI partition copy config.plist in EFI/Clover to desktop then use clover to point to that one save it after making changes then copy and paste...
Thats what I thought, had them on Yosemite. Not sure how to add them or if that is even possible. Happy with the build will just leave well enough alone.
Anyone else missing the weather and stock from the notifications panel. I went to the extension setting and under Today they are not even listed. Not a big deal just wondering if something went wrong on the install of El Capitan or were they removed in this verion.
My board is a rev 1.0 and I have the gtx 750ti. It was a nightmare to get 10.11 running because the UEFI. So then created Legacy usb boot with only dart=0 and nv_disable flags. After installing Nvidia web drivers changed boot flags to dart=0 nvda_drv=1 flags. Installed both audio and ethernet...
After very little sleep and 20-25 reinstalls over the past 3 days I have finally installed OS X El Capitan. Running a Gigabyte Z77ush3 rev 1.0,evga 750ti, intel 2500k cpu and samsung 830 SSD. Everything smooth soo far except that Nvidia panel shows default web driver after reboot instead of web...
The issue I had was similar. Did not have sleep issues but when it went to sleep monitor seemed to not have a video signal. The only way to get to signal to monitor was to reboot the pc. My fix was a setting in the bios "Internal Graphics Deep Standby Mode had to be disabled" even it I were...
Help! I cant get my GeForce GTX 750Ti Graphics Card to work
I have the same card. EVGA 750ti. It was a nightmare to get running. I installed OSX 10.3.3 with card installed with boot flags PCIRootUID=1 and nv_disable=1
After OSX installed downloaded and installed Nvidia web drivers for 10.3.3...
Man I wished I would have found this post earlier. Spent over two days with this issue with a gtx 750ti. Had ran out of options so just toggling things in the bios and behold the internal graphics deep sleep disable worked.Cant say why if would affect the PCI slot. Have documented this setting...
Have same board and CPU. Had to use flag PCIRootUID=1 with unibeast and same flag after install. I could not get onboard graphics to work properly so used gtx 750ti instead. Good luck P.S also had to select nullcpupowermanagement in multibeast due to kernel panics on startup. Had no issues when...
I have almost the same board except rev 1.0 and same cpu. Seems you have tried all the boot flags I can think of. Make sure you have set shared video mem to 64mb in bios. Would also try to re-download mavericks from your laptop and create another unibeast install from flash drive. sometimes...
Sorry for late response. I connect to both pc monitor and sometime to tv. Either give me no issues. Here is my setup.
I am using that network kext because I am using A trend net adapter. you would use the Atheros if using onboard network.
