@BimmerBoy @Puntme guys, could you share your bios settings and EFI folder, pls?
I've bought the same MoBo but can't start it yet. It stuck on `using 16384 buffer headers and 10240 cluster IO buffer headers`
Thank you for advance!
Hi.
Did you solve this issue?
When i connect my eGPU via TB3 it appears in System Preference but with no driver loaded for gpu, but for audio on gpu it is.
Thank you.
I tried different ig-platfroms and manage to drive my LG 5k, but it works as two separate displays (i see 2 displays in mac os settings and it seem resolution of LG 5k is 4k).
I tried work with connectors table but it doesn't give me any results.
Maybe you have any advice?
Hello, Rehab.
I have a laptop with thunderbolt 3. I connected LG 5k under Windows and checked it in properties, LG 5k and internal display connected over UHD630.
Under MacOs I see usb devices of LG 5k (sound, camera) but don't see image on display.
Could you help me, please? Can I drive LG 5k...
Yes, I use Alpine Ridge (rev 2.0) without any additional setting in BIOS.
If you want to check full 5k by visual way you should look at any system icon with sharp edges.
For example I looked at icon on System Preferences Window with 12 small squares. It must be sharp squares when 5k full.

Hi there.
I got to work LG UltraFine 5K on Strix RX580 with bootarg `agdpmod=pikera` (thanks @joevt)
Without this bootarg I had two troubles:
- there was two displays (LG UltraFine (1) and LG UltraFine (2))
- it seems was 4k, not full 5k. Image was a little blurry
I had the same problem, my Logitech Master MX had lags when connected via Unifying.
Recently I setup native Mac WiFI/BL card (BCM94360CS2). Connect mouse via BL and it works perfectly
