My setup is very similar to yours, but I'm OCing. I've been able to get a stable setup with a GB score of almost 15,000, so if you want higher GB scores, you'll definitely want to OC. For reference also, my OCZ Vertex 4 256GB has a black magic (never used it before until you mentioned it)...

Anyone else OCing a 3770K on a GA-Z77-DS3H? Can you get a stable system that can score over 15000? I can get several different configs that can do 15000+, but not stable. Best stable config I could get was 14867. Not being able to set Vcore really seems to limit things.

ok. got it working. was looking through the options and hadn't realized that graphicsenabler was enabled with nodsdt settings in multibeast. set option to No and voila! Sure beats all the frustration of trying to get the 550ti to work.

Did anyone successfully upgrade to the 660Ti after having previously run FakeSMC? I was running with a 460 with FakeSMC just before getting an Asus 660Ti. I could not get it to work. I tried deleting FakeSMC (was from a 5.02 multibeast install so all the plugins were in that directory)...

Not sure if it's just simply a memory size issue. After giving up on the EVGA 550ti, I put my Gigabyte GTX 460 1024MB in and everything has been running perfectly. No freezes/lockups. I'm running dual display (2560X1600 and 2560X1440). I haven't tested everything but ripple in dashboard...

You must be asking about a different MB than the OP mentioned. The firmware for the GA-Z77-DS3H only goes to F6, which is what I used. GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z77-DS3H (rev. 1.0)

Mine's working OOB. I did initial Unibeast install on the internal graphics only and then put the 550ti in afterward. I'm running 2560X1440. Did some initial testing (ripple effect, chess, ran cinebench), but haven't really tried everything yet (dual monitor, etc.), but looking pretty good so...

I'm in a similar situation. GA-Z77-DS3H, 3770K, EVGA GTX550Ti. I did a clean install with just HD4000 running and that went fine. Installed latest Chameleon and booting off my vertex 4 fine. Re-installed the 550ti, but hangs on boot. Was doing this before going in to work this morning, so...

I'm running fine with a Gigabyte GTX460 1GB with Gigabyte GA-X58-UD7 motherboard with 10.6.6. No freezes in 4 or 5 days since I first got things running stable after 10.6.6. I was running an MSI N260GTX for quite awhile with no problems and a 9800 before that, but glad to be on the 460 now...
