I did have the legacy USB enabled in the BIOS, just like shown on the Customac guide. If I disable it, my keboard is not recognised at startup and I cannot select the Mac OS X option to boot with.
I have reinstalled SL with iBoot Legacy, which also installs ok but which I also cannot boot...

OK, so after replacing the 750 Ti with the old GTX 260, I managed to install Mac OS X SL. Problem is that I am unable to boot... After a successful install, I put back the iBoot CD, select the SL install and using various combinations of boot arguments, I always get an error message...

Sorry for the wrong posting location.
I will try with an old 260 GTX I kept. Hopefully that will work better. If so, maybe I can upgrade to Yosemite first and then change back to the 750 Ti.
