I did. But I am a total fool, I had completely forgotten I had a RAID config on the windows-drives. Unticked it in the bios and VOILA, multiple disks appeard xD
Thanks for the reply tho!
Hey,
Been trying for a few hours to get High Sierra to install. But the installer cannot see ANY drives.
I have 1 SSD brand new, Samsung EVO 860 500GB, 120GB OCZ SSD HFS+ and a Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM NTFS. Both SATA of course.
Board: Gigabyte Z370 HD3, CPU: 8600K, GFX: Nvidia GTX 670, RAM 16GB...
For some reason it now boots properly with everything but audio working :)
No idea how or why, but all of a sudden it do.
Now to get the audio working... tried the audioCloverALC-thing with no success. Will keep trying.
Hmm... I did manage to boot without caches. What does this do? How will I know how to make it boot properly?
When booted without caches my geforce 670 is identified and shows up in "about this mac" and the resolution is correct.
Still no luck. I HAVE to use nv_disable=1 and cpus=1 else it reboots.
Also I've noticed that nvda_drv=1 stays and I do not know how to remove it. (Removing it in clover options does not work).
Hello,
Finally got El Capitan to install. I had to use nv_disable=1 and cpus=1 to be able to install.
However, now when I try to get my stuff up 'n running I'm having a lot of issues.
Cannot get El Capitan to boot (it reboots) unless I use nv_disable=1. Tried with installed web-drivers...
Hello,
My installation keeps failing. It either freezes or restarts.
Has anyone had any luck with this board and El Capitan?
Also I have gotten over 30 boot options in bios/F12 since my first attempt with El Capitan... Weird.
Need some hints.
Thanks!
PS. Can install Yosemite and older...
Ah, forgot to say that I will be using a discrete card. Got my Eyes on the i3 4330 instead, which is only €10 above. I guess I will not let my cheapness get the better of me, since I then will be able to use it, should my discrete card die.
Thanks!
Hey folks!
I was thinking of building myself a new Hackintosh on a tight budget. I looked at the buyers guide and saw some Intel i3's there, alas I did not see the Intel i3 4160 processor.
Will the Intel i3 4160 work with a Mavericks/Yosemite Hackintosh?
I was thikning of pairing it up with a...
Hey!
I was having a fully functioning Maverick installation, with my GTX 580 working properly.
Yesterday I decided to try out Yosemite, which worked fine, alas my Gearbox-software did not work with 10.10, so I had to re-roll.
Today I reinstalled Maverick, using the same Multibeast as before...
Thanks! I will try it :)
EDIT: I'm a total tool, but how do I make the kernel patcher 'go in' to the installation? I mean, I have the USB OS X pen, with Mavericks on it. How can I change the kernelpatcher?
