Im a fellow PT user. I upgraded my MBP to ML with my music apps started to crash... I think it might have been too soon. I suggest that for serious music work, SL and Lion works pretty good. SL might be a little better choice. no problems with my hackintosh build with Lion and PT 9.

everything works, ethernet, firewire. managed to upgrade to 10.7.2 and all. installed protools 9 and got kernel panics. thanks to this site again, managed to delete the crappy kext that protools installs. mounted my hd to a sata-usb cradle and deleted the kext with my mbp. back on track! :)

ok, got my memory to correct frequency etc. geekbench is now 10139. heaven benchmark is pretty choppy, but otherwise I can see the graphics. I typed in graphicsenable=yes to com.apple.boot.plist. I see the wave/doplet when I add a widget, so I guess im good with that. now xbench result is...

hey, thanks to this site, i now have a brand new i7 build. -ga-x58a-ud5 -i7 -12gb of ram -evga geforce 210 everything seems to be working ok, sound, sleep. my xbench score is 215,67 and geekbench is 9838 in 32-bit mode. sound about right? is there any way I can check...
