Just updated to Big Sur, Amazing! Everything seems to be working, looking real smooth... I'm planning to move the install to the internal SSD soon...
- Final Cut working with a reinstall.
- Sound through headphone needs fixing.
The updated repo is good! The power light is white and the laptop runs nice and cool, fan is silent; Pretty sure we can get great battery life with this.
For now, I am accepting the fact that we won't be able to put an external display, or use eGPU with Thunderbolt3... but who knows someday :)...
@marianopela Wow! No way!! I was so surprised when I booted and the Bluetooth worked! The detection of my Logitech MX mouse work, but it wouldn't connect for some reason.

I agree we should work together to make this working on the GS66. It has so much potential. I had issue with the audio with using final cut with the headphone...
I am a newbie when it comes to Hackintosh, I read about using the dev version of OpenCore might help map the ports?
I notice that Opencore on the Dell XPS 9500 is quite well developed. Are we able to use VoltageShift kext to UnderVolt as well?

Try using Denver8989's config file again, edit the config with a text editor, not opencore configurator because it messes up the config in my experience.
Remove itwlmx in the kext dir, Add the latest itwlm kext; since itwlmx was combined into itwlm. My kenel add section looks like this...
