Is there any reason to not upgrade a volume to APFS

My NVME2 SSD is slower w/ APFS. Not by a ton, but enough to keep it @ HFS.

The USB 3.1 ports are native now, so it is probably able to detect what is being put in properly. I would imagine there is a KEXT to fix the USB 2.0/3.0 issue.

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I believe so. When you go to boot off that Portable SSD, you'll just want to insert it into the USB 3.1 ports.

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I stayed home today to play w/ my hack. A few things to note: 1. If I add FakeCPUID = 0x0506E4 to config.plist, the computer hangs on boot at ++++++++++++++++++++. I can leave the CPU Type = 0x0a05 2. Although I have native XCPM w/o a ssdt.aml to and kernel patches in config.plist, I get a...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Absolutely nothing. That is a fresh build. The only thing I have done on it since the build was load the NVidia drivers. I have a mixture of Kexts from your Zip and a mostly generic config.plist.

I can confirm the same. no ssdt.aml in the patched folder. Just did a clean install, and XCPM seems to be working fine

GTX 970 w/ World of Warcraft

I notice one main difference is the new computer requires EmuVariableUefi-64 to be loaded or the Nvidia drivers won't work. Would it be possible to go with a MBR boot loader and get around that? Maybe this item is messing up video? Is there any other way around using it?

GTX 970 w/ World of Warcraft

I have found that lowering the "Drawing Distance" helps a quite a bit, but doesn't alleviate it completely. My mystery is why my work one is flawless with inferior hardware across the board. I wonder if I am missing some setting or kext on my new PC

There is very little change between the two. I normally run Metal, but have tested both.
