[SOLVED] Audio stopped working, no sound but visually all fine
OMG this is such an unbelievable solution! I have a dual-boot (Catalina/Win 10) on separate SSD's. Everything working fine until this morning, I shut down Windows, boot Catalina, and no sound. According to the system, everything was working, volume up/down, but no sound. Saw this post, rebooted... -
No display when additional PCI card is installed
Bump. My issue exactly, and it took me forever to figure out is was the SATA card (Startech PEXSAT31E1). Black flashing screen about 3/4 of the way through booting. I could tell the machine had booted, just no graphics. So now I'm consolidating hard drives until I find an SATA card that does...- dwckabal
