I just upgraded from 10.8.2 to 10.8.4 and I am not able to install anything from multibest. Here is the error log: I've already tried repairing the disk permissions, but no luck. -- Edit: fixed by deleting the listed kexts.

I recently updated my Lion installation to 10.7.4. After updating, my front panel audio mic input works (yay), however, I noticed if I leave my account logged in and put the computer to sleep and I come back, say an hour later, I turn it on, and the login select screen is froze. Okay, I removed the old HDA, ran the repair disk thing, restarted the computer and installed the new HDA kext using Multibeast (the latest version). Restarted the computer, and no audio. I did it twice, same effect.

Which ones do I need to select? Just ALC889 under Patched AppleHDA?

Before I plugin the microphone, it shows up as "Internal Microphone". After I plug it in, it changes to "Line In", however, when I try to speak into the mic, I don't see the input level move like I do when it's plugged into the back microphone port.

I've tried this, and my audio does work...however, the only thing that does not work is the front panel microphone. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm running a Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 with Lion 10.7.2. Thanks!

I wasn't able to boot up in the single user mode, however, there is a "restore" partition, and I am able to boot into that and access the partition my lion installation is located in. What can I do with Multibeast to make it work again? Any kexts I should delete?

I can't reinstall as I don't have anything backed up. There has to be a way to remove the graphic enabler kexts?
