A little confused here. Did you use chimera or multibeast? they are two different boot loader. You may need to install chimera for a better graphic support and I think you won't be able to boot with multibeast to run lion.

Did you install chimera on the SL?

If previously used sleepenabler kext, remove it and reboot.

Try this; if you use sleepenabler, get rid of it from your SL and fix permission then boot to the installer partition again.
