Same here.
From what I've seen my SSDT and DSDT patches are fine, but still no dice. It's my girlfriend's work laptop too, which most of the time is hooked up to an external display so is not a problem, but when she decides to work directly from it the lack of brightness control is... an isssue.

I was working on my setup in November and couldn't get sleep to work for the life of me.
Took another crack at it and of course by searching "black screen sleep hackintosh" I find this thread with my exact machine.

Just got this working on the Yoga C930.
For anyone having trouble with the hard drive, I found a pretty useful workaround.
If you boot into linux (I used Kubuntu) you can format the installed SSD as ExFat with a GUID partition table. Then reboot with the MacOS install USB and it will detect...
