I did what you said, it was MacPro2,1 and it gave me the circle with a slash through it again. and the "kext-dev-mode=1" was in boot args with all the other jn the order you put them

Was I supposed to put them all in the same one or try them separately? I tried them all together with product name as MacPro5,1 and it did the same thing, restarted to boot menu.

does the kext bit go in the block kext section?

How do I get to single user mode? I apoligize if I'm inadequate at this.

same thing, apple symbol, restart to boot menu, and i put product name back to MacPro5,1 as well.

I put in what you said for product name and boot args, and it went to the apple symbol when i booted and then restarted back to the boot menu where it also reset boot args and product name.
