Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Huge thanks Toleda! I upgraded from Yosemite to Sierra and everything went well (after disabling SIP) but had no sound device on my ALC898 :( Native AppleHDA -> Inject 2 -> Audio_CloverALC did the trick! Everything works fine now :) Thanks again!

A few questions before upgrading to GTX 980 Ti

... OK, because I`m not that patient type and I like to experiment, I went ahead and did what I should`ve for the first time... that is, install the nvidia drivers first, then swap the cards, and it booted back into MacOS without a glitch! (FYI, I have a generic Palit 980 and it works perfectly)...

A few questions before upgrading to GTX 980 Ti

Hi, just wonderig how did the swap go for you? I did the same with a 770- 980 swap but then I couldn't boot into MacOs, i just had the black screen with the cursor, so I put my 770 back... gonna try installing the drivers first then swap again...

UniBeast: Install OS X Yosemite on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Article: UniBeast: Install OS X Yosemite on Any Supported Intel-based PC I also had issues where I could`t get iMessage to give me the "correct" error message with the customer code. Moving to Clover helped, so it`s worth a try. Make sure to back up first in case something goes wrong.

    How to Fix iMessage

I called Apple support 15 minutes ago and they were super helpful. I even told the guy that I had been using my mackintosh for 3 years without any problems, but the recent security measures rendered my iMessage inactive. I gave him the 12 digit customer code iMessage gives you when you can`t log...

I`m happy to hear that :) Unfortunately, your magic didn`t work this time… but the next OS X is not that far away now… :)

    Mavericks Hackintosh Freezes

That`s good to know :) I`m sure my problem is/was related to the memory management of Mavericks… I tried all kinds of tricks I read on the forums but nothing worked. My freezes were completely random, even when no USB devices were present :( I think I`ll just skip Mavericks and wait for the next...

    Mavericks Hackintosh Freezes

This freezing issue was driving me crazy... I was about to trash my ProBook one time... I was really disappointed in Mavericks, and the only solution for me was to go back to Mountain Lion... Until I find no confirmation that this issue is fixed, I don`t think it`s a good idea to use Mavericks...

Guide to Installing Mavericks on HP Probook

I had to wait approximately 5 mins for the installer after the cursor appeared. As RehabMan pointed out in the install guide "Note that the Mavericks installer is much slower to appear than the Lion or Mountain Lion installers were, so please be patient and allow plenty of time for the OS X...

Guide to Installing Mavericks on HP Probook

Thanks! :D Now my 4330s is running 10.9 (updated from 10.8.5 --> 10.9). The update guide was perfect, but in my case I had to use the "front" usb port on the left rather than the right as the installer never loaded when I tried to boot with the flashdrive on the right side. All files and apps...

    Mountain Lion Update 10.8.3 Released

Hi all, just wanted to say that the update from 10.8.2 to 8.3 went smoothly. After the combo update, I used my backed up sound and battery kexts. After the first restart some graphical glitches happened but a permission repair and a restart solved it. Everything is running smoothly without any...

How to disassemble 4530s to replace CPU details for model XX960EA

I just want to tell you that I`ve also successfully upgraded my probook 4330s from an i3 2310m to a i7 2670qm without any problems. The only thing I was surprised at that it only took 7 minutes... All I needed to do was (after I added the new processor in Probook Installer) to remove the bottom...

Hi blueking and everyone! Just letting you know that the TRIM enabler works like charm with my Vertex 3 after restart and no problems so far. I found another topic for helping to increase the lifespan of your ssd even more, and it seems it`s not causing any problems. Here is the link...
