I've tried your config and downloaded the latest oc from github but i couldn't make it to boot. my osx is catalina at the moment and afraid to upgrade to big sur because I had issues with it before like faulty wifi and Bluetooth.
I managed to make it boot with the config settings. the problem now is the wifi. I'm confused why the old OC EFI has working wifi and bt while the latest EFI has broken wifi & bt. I'm trying EFI first before going ahead and upgrading to big sur as I'm still on catalina.
If I install, and it did not, work. how can I fix EFI? I'm on catalina and I've only tried swapping my old OC EFI with this new one and it doesn't boot. I've attached the error on my machine. I'm using Lenovo y540 with 9th gen processor. I've patched my bioa already before applying the efi but...
nope, because it is connected to nvidia video card which is disabled on hackintosh. by the way, latest opencore efi 3.0.3 which supports macos 11.2.1 from xiaom4095 has been released. check out his github page. happy chinese new year!
Thanks man! I appreciate it. I updated mine with Clover and I had to fix AirportBrcmFixup.kext to make the wifi work. It also takes ages for my hackintosh to bootup due to some errors. I'll experiment with my EFI when I got time.
