I've noticed that my M.2 Samsung Pro quite hot when computer running. Do I need a thermal for it or adding some extra fans ?
another things is that I see the second slot position M.2 is higher than 1st. I think I will move my M.2 to that slot & hope that can be cooler a bit but don't know that...
Since I touch the EFI file with my newbie level, I managed EFI folder with a local git to track changes. So I can just reverse those line at USBPorts.kext then my bluetooth can work again. But I still want to get more knowleadge for later hackintosh (not HP G4). Your sharing still help me a lot :D
@deeveedee do you have any detail tutorial to create my own USB port map (something like rtcfx_exclude tutorial) ? Because I'm still newbie in hackintosh
I've discovery my rtcfx_exclude is D8-DF (216-223). I think it will 4 between start/end. Just post for someone give a try if have the same bios as mine. This take time to discovery but fun & learnt smt too :D.
I'll try to create my own USB Port map next.
yes, how to do that. Can you show me, I also see it happen at 0.6.7 r001.
Another issues I found in 0.6.7 r001 is the bluetooth is disabled (still work with previous version). I'm using Bcm94360cs2 wifi card
morning @deeveedee , after few days using r3. I see the RTC issues is comeback (some times happen) on my G4 65w. Just want to report that for next r4 improvement if has
Seem like I'm trying using your patch to override an existed one. It's not a correct way, I think I'll start from scratch. Thanks for help @deeveedee :D
Hi @deeveedeee does your patch working with HP 800 G4 65W - core i5 - 32Gb ram ?. I tried to replace yours but got panic 36448 (I'm new from hackintosh and got my hack from my friend)
It's a helpful information because I'm using 65W. It's annoying if get boot error everytime turn on the machine. Thanks you, I'll try order the bay at amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GX8YS3K/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
