Lots of stupid mistakes on my part, apologies again.
- Removed OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi, replaced with AptioMemoryFix.efi - OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi caused instant reboot.
- Yeah, forgot to press F2. My bad.
- FakeSMC.kext, I must have accidentally overwritten my kexts folder, I had it at one point...
Verified by changing theme to embedded instead of BGM.
I downloaded macOS legitimately from the Mac App Store on my Hackbook Lenovo laptop in my profile. I then created the USB on the same hardware.
Changed Clover revision to your most recent release (r4398, 2/4/2018).
Unfortunately, that's definitely the EFI/Clover that I'm using. I've tried multiple revisions of Clover too, your branch included. The only tinkering I've done with the ACPI configuration in Clover has been after trying the config.plist's preferences (vanilla, if you will).
I'll reinstall your...
Better EFI attached, better picture of results (result 1) with config.plist attached.
Sorry the photo quality isn't any better, it's about as good as I'm gonna be able to get right now though. My smart-phone with a good camera is busted.
Hey everyone,
Working on a laptop for a friend. I can't boot into the installer via USB. I consistently run into ACPI errors. Specs are:
Acer E5-573G-56RG
Intel Core i5-5200U (DVMT for integrated graphics properly allocated in BIOS)
Nvidia GeForce 940M (Disabled in BIOS)
8GB DDR3

I have no WiFi, despite what ioreg says. The chip works under Windows 10, but it refuses to turn on in macOS. No results in the toolbar, in system preferences, and according to SystemProfiler, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi doesn't load. The fact that it shows as loaded in ioreg I find confusing. I dug...
Okay, I got the KP Resolved. I don't know how, but it was my graphics.
Still unable to get WiFi to load though. I looked at the common questions about 10.13 (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/readme-common-problems-in-10-13-high-sierra.233582/) and decided to try adding in the patch for SMBIOS...
Makes sense, thank you for the clarification. Stuck on a KP now though, looks like it's related to my PS2 mouse and keyboard kext. Honestly I need to just use VoodooPS2. Here's a poor picture (text moves too fast) but that's what I gather from it. I'll resolve this and get back.
