Hello guys, have the same board and I did a clean install just now and it seems that USB 3.0 is not working. USB 2.0 devices working fine, while USB 3.0 devices are not. I did install the kexts mentioned but still problem persists.
Just a few question to help me isolate my problem:
1. May I...
Yup. Got the same problem.
BTW, how did you fix the sound? I installed Multibeast ALC1150 but the sound icon is still missing. Tried to install Mirone's AppleHDA but still not working.
hope you can share. Thank you. :)
Hi resmas,
My new right has the same mobo, 16GB 4x4GB and EVGA 980 Ti hybrid -- which I think is almost same as yours except the RAID Setup and BT/WiFi card. I only have SDD for Mac/Windows which I will setup for dual booting.
Will try this maybe tonight if I have time. I did tried to install...
Hi Roxtaz,
Good job Sir.
I have the same MoBo and I wanted to update my mavericks maybe before Christmas. I want to update it from scratch and this time using Clover.
Perhaps you can help me on this. Maybe you can give me link for guides and other essential stuff. I would also like to know...
Sorry if this is a bit off topic but, any idea why Intel Power Gadget's frequency's Y-axis is garbled?
Old version of IPG seems to be ok. No idea what's wrong but PM is working fine:

Hi cru302, I'm planning to buy GTX 660 Ti for my old hackintosh that has 9600 GT. May I know if GTX 660 Ti is completely compatible to 10.9.1? Meaning all Cuda cores, Power Management, etc. are working properly?
Thanks in advance!
Mine is rev. 1.1. Anyway, for the 4.3Ghz, edit your smbios.plist in /Extra. Assuming you have the same processor Q9550, just add the following entry:
<key>SMcputype</key>
<string>1281</string>
<key>SMmaximalclock</key>
<string>2830</string>
just google the sleepenabler.kext. :)
Hmmm. its in the /Extra of OSX Drive. That directory is created once Chameleon or Chimera is installed. Try to install Chimera from Multibeast. Just don't forget the Kernel Flags PCIRootUID=1 (assuming you have the same board).
Nice! Bookmarked. Thanks for the tip(s) this may come in handy when i build another hackintosh using this board (second hand). i'm just waiting for the new casing and the 8gb memory sticks before i start. :) cheers!
Thank you for your tutorial. I have the same board, but GPU is GTX 760 (which is working OOTB). Using the latest Unibeast 2.1.2 and Multibeast 5.5.2 for ML and with the correct BIOS version settings, installation works like a charm. In fact, I didn't add -x before and after installation...
