Would the same patch work with a Gigabyte H67M-D2-B3 Rev 1.0 board? I have the same issues, after computer enters sleep, CMOS gets reset, facetime and photobooth don't recognize USB webcam. Thanks, Dennis

Hacman, I appreciate your response, but page one does not tell me where the alc887HDA.kext file is located. That is what I don't understand. I apologize if this should be obvious to me, but I'm new to this. THanks, ~DM

Hacman, can you please explain what is meant by step 2: run given alc887HDA.kext using kext utility? I installed kext utility, but I'm not sure what these directions mean. Thank you! ~DM
